In the most recent edition of Breakfast@Católica "Meet Global Thought Leaders", on April 3, the Top Leaders Johnny el Hachem and Conceição Lucas brought the best practices of Sustainable Finance, to an audience composed of the main national CEOs of the area, and reference UCP Alumni. The session was chaired by the Dean of UCP, Isabel Capeloa Gil.
Johnny el Hachem, CEO of Private Equity at Edmond de Rothschild, described the agenda of the financial institution as "committed to the long term" in making decisions and adopting sustainable and profitable strategies taking into account "the reality of the lack of resources".
Conceição Lucas, Founding Partner of Maingreen and UCP alumna, referred to Portugal as a leading country in the mixed energy transition through companies that become catalysts for a sustainable transition.
The statement of the Dean of UCP, Isabel Capeloa Gil, reflects the importance and relevance of the debate on best practices in an area with so much economic impact: "The topic that brings us together today is crucial to the development of our social models and we are very eager to hear them and discover ways to work in the face of the current turmoil in the financial sector".
The Breakfast@Católica "Meet Global Thought Leaders" monthly brings together at UCP the most relevant, prestigious and innovative international leaders in each of their areas, promoting the development of knowledge among our Alumni and top national leaders.
