Beatriz Angelo e protocolo UCP

The Faculty of Medicine of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (FM-UCP) signed, on April 17, a partnership with the Beatriz Ângelo Hospital (HBA). This protocol will allow medical students to carry out clinical internships at this hospital and promote the involvement of hospital clinicians in research projects.

The first students, from the Faculty of Medicine, will arrive at the Hospital Beatriz Ângelo in the second quarter of 2024.

Carlos Simões Pereira, Clinical Director of the Beatriz Ângelo Hospital, stated that "the partnership with the FM-UCP is the beginning of a journey that will allow us to reap many benefits together", adding that the HBA is a place where passion and the need for knowledge are transmitted".

Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of UCP stated that "this is a joint path of two institutions that share the same vision".

This way, Beatriz Ângelo Hospital becomes a clinical collaborator of the Medical School, whose partner is Grupo Luz Saúde. This partnership with Grupo Luz includes all the group's hospitals, including Hospital da Luz Lisboa, which will be the Faculty of Medicine's University Hospital.
