The Católica Alumni Sunset Meeting in Madrid brought together former students from various areas who are living and working in the Spanish capital. The event took place on February 21 at the Official Residence of the Portuguese Ambassador, João Mira Gomes.
The Rector, Isabel Capeloa Gil, thanked the presence of the former students who represent the resilience of Universidade Católica Portuguesa: "we learn to risk, to do differently, to be autonomous" and presented to the guests the new Campus Veritati project.
"It is a pleasure for the embassy to welcome UCP and its alumni, and for me, it is a reinforced pleasure because I am also an alumnus." This is how the Alumni were welcomed by the Portuguese Ambassador, who reviews the spirit of the UCP, "known for the excellence of the training it gives to the people who have passed through there."
The event was organized by the Development Office of the UCP and was also attended by the Vice-Rector, Miguel Athayde Marques and the Director of the School of Arts, Nuno Crespo.
