On February 13th, World Radio Day is celebrated, an occasion to celebrate a medium of communication that has the power to unite communities, disseminate information, and entertain people worldwide. Radio continues to be a source of inspiration and innovation today, shaping the media landscape with its capacity for renewal and adaptation.
On this day, we also celebrate the people who contributed to the success of radio. Among the professionals who stand out in Portuguese radio, we find several Alumni of the Faculty of Human Sciences, such as Ana Pinheiro, Inês Nogueira, and David Carronha at MegaHits, Rodrigo Gomes at RFM. Also deserving of a mention is Cristina Nascimento, a journalist at Rádio Renascença. Their talent and dedication enrich the current national radio panorama.
