ADN Católica

The Catholic Alumni and Descendants Network is a network of families, with different generations of alumni and their descendants, who share the fact that they have studied at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and therefore have the same Alma Mater, to which they return at this time of celebration.

Costa Lima Family

Rui Costa Lima graduated in Food Engineering in 1996. Today he is the Manager of Sense Test. Sofia, his wife, completed her degree in Microbiology in 1998 and is currently a researcher.

José Pedro, Rui's brother, opted for the area of Management, which he concluded in 1995. Today he holds the position of Director of Sales at NOS.

His cousin, João Carlos, is a Manager at Novo Banco. He also chose Management, which he concluded in 2009. His wife, Marta, is a Psychologist in the UCP Quality System. She graduated in Psychology in 2008 and completed her Master's degree in the area in 2010.

Her cousin Daniela graduated in Food Engineering in 2001. Today, she is Cerealis' Quality Assurance Manager.

Duarte Silva Family

Miguel Duarte Silva graduated in Management in 1982. He is currently managing partner of Cerisol. His sister Teresa was a lecturer at the UCP for around 21 years and it was also in the area of Management that she specialised, in 1979. His sister Sofia preferred Economics, which she finished in 1988. She is currently a lecturer at the Catholic University.

The second generation of the Duarte Silva family, Miguel and António, Miguel's sons, follow the path of Management. António is currently pursuing his degree. Miguel finished in 2013, and is at Unilever as a trainee.

Teresa has four children, with only Vera preferring the area of law. José Maria, Teresa and Isabel also preferred the area of Management, and are currently in areas such as banking or consulting.

Madalena and Mariana, Miguel, Teresa and Sofia's nieces, also marked their path at the Catholic University. Madalena chose the Management area and is currently a Project Manager. Mariana chose Social Work and is currently working at the Campo Grande Parish Centre.

Durão Family

Luís Pinto Durão and Isabel Amado Durão both graduated in Law in 1983. Today they are both lawyers.

Luís Durão, the couple's son, also chose Law. He graduated in 2013 and went on to a Master's degree, which he finished in 2017, in which he combined Law and Management. Today he is a banker.
