The Catholic Alumni and Descendants Network is a network of families, with different generations of alumni and their descendants, who share the fact that they have studied at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and therefore have the same Alma Mater, to which they return at this time of celebration.

Almeida e Brito Family

The Almeida e Brito family is mainly dedicated to Management and Economics.

Guilherme Almeida e Brito is married to Isabel Almeida e Brito.  In 1983, he graduated in Management, in UCP. He is Professor and Senior Associate Dean for Degree Programs, in Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Isabel Almeida e Brito is currently Principal of Colégio de São Tomás. She finished her Law degree in 1987 at the UCP.

Mafalda Almeida e Brito, is the daughter of Guilherme Almeida e Brito and Isabel Almeida e Brito. Following her father's footsteps, Mafalda Almeida e Brito opted for a degree in International Management (IUP Management), which she finished in 2017, at UCP. Today, she is pursuing a Double-Degree Master's in Finance, and also holds the position of Trainee at SONAE. 

Inácio Almeida e Brito is the brother of Guilherme Almeida e Brito and a Director of the José de Mello Saúde Group. He graduated in Economics in 1984 from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Isabel Cordovil Almeida e Brito is daughter of Inácio Almeida e Brito. In 2010, she completed her degree in Management at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Subsequently, she went on to a Master's degree in Finance at UCP, which she completed in 2013. Isabel Cordovil Almeida e Brito, is Project Manager Inclusive Community Forum NOVA SBE. 

Henrique Almeida e Brito Gomes is Guilherme Almeida e Brito's nephew. In 2017, he finished his degree in Management, at UCP.  Successively, he entered the Master in Management (Msc in Management), which he is currently attending. Henrique Almeida e Brito Gomes is currently an Auditor at KPMG.

Rita Almeida e Brito, is also Guilherme Almeida e Brito's niece, and is finishing her degree in Nursing, in Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Anacoreta Correia Family

Luísa, married to João Anacoreta Correia, graduated in Business Administration and Management in 1991. Today, besides being an Assistant Professor at Católica Business School in Porto, she is also a Director of CTT.

João Anacoreta Correia, completed his law degree in 1989 and is a partner at Uria Menendez - Proença de Carvalho.

João and Luísa's children, João Lourenço and Catarina, finished their degrees in Economics in 2016 and Management in 2017, respectively. João Lourenço is attending his Master's degree in Madrid and Catarina is an intern at Ernst and Young.

Filipe Anacoreta Correia and José Pedro, João's brothers and Luísa's brothers-in-law, also preferred the area of Law. Filipe finished his degree in 1999 and today, besides being a lawyer, he is a Member of Parliament. José Pedro finished his degree in 1998 and in 2014 he completed his Master's in Business Administration. Today he is Project Strategic Management Director at SONAE. His wife, Clara, Director of the Porto Ballet School, also went through UCP in a training for executives in Marketing Management in 2017.

Araújo Cardoso Family

Maria da Glória graduated in Philosophy in Braga in 1978. She continued her studies in the area of Philosophy of Knowledge with a Masters Degree, which she completed in 1996. Today, besides being a Philosophy and Psychology teacher in the Barcelos High School, she is also the Coordinator of the magazine "Amanhecer".

Her daughter Rita Araújo Cardoso chose the Catholic University, also in Braga, to do her Masters in Pedagogy in 2011. She is currently Director of Rolling Space.
