Luís, the patriarch of the Branco family, finished his law degree in 1982. The first law course at UCP. Today he is a Lawyer and Partner of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados, besides collaborating with the Catholic University, teaching seminars in master and post-graduation courses.
His wife Maria Leonor graduated in Economics in 1983 and is currently a Director of Caixa Geral de Depósitos.
Their sons, Luís and Manuel, chose the same area as their father. Luís graduated in 2015 and finished his Master's in Law and Management in 2017. He is currently a trainee lawyer at Campos Ferreira Sá Carneiro & Associados. While Manuel is still in the 4th year of his law degree. His son Ricardo chose Economics for his degree and Finance for his Master's degree. He is currently living in Madrid where he is a Software Engineering Analyst at Accenture.
