ADN Católica

The Catholic Alumni and Descendants Network is a network of families, with different generations of alumni and their descendants, who share the fact that they have studied at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and therefore have the same Alma Mater, to which they return at this time of celebration.

Branco Family

Luís, the patriarch of the Branco family, finished his law degree in 1982. The first law course at UCP. Today he is a Lawyer and Partner of Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados, besides collaborating with the Catholic University, teaching seminars in master and post-graduation courses.

His wife Maria Leonor graduated in Economics in 1983 and is currently a Director of Caixa Geral de Depósitos.

Their sons, Luís and Manuel, chose the same area as their father. Luís graduated in 2015 and finished his Master's in Law and Management in 2017. He is currently a trainee lawyer at Campos Ferreira Sá Carneiro & Associados. While Manuel is still in the 4th year of his law degree. His son Ricardo chose Economics for his degree and Finance for his Master's degree. He is currently living in Madrid where he is a Software Engineering Analyst at Accenture.

Brissos de Almeida Family

Helena Brissos de Almeida graduated in Management in 1987. She is a Trustee of the Universidade Católica and also a Professor at the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics..

Her son, Diogo Brissos de Almeida, completed his degree also in Management, in 2013. He also held a Master's degree in the same area, which he finished in 2015. Today he is a Strategic Planning and Management Control Technician at Fidelidade.

Capeloa Gil Family

Isabel Capeloa Gil, chose the Catholic University for her PhD in German Language and Culture, in 2002. Besides other positions, she is Rector of the Catholic University of Portugal.

Her daughters, Beatriz and Madalena, also went through the institution, but in different areas.

Beatriz followed the path of Law, graduating in 2014. Today she is a lawyer at the law firm Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados. At the moment she is also doing her LLM at NYU.

Madalena preferred Social Communication, which she completed in 2016. She is currently studying for a Master's degree and working at Unilever.
