The Catholic Alumni and Descendants Network is a network of families, with different generations of alumni and their descendants, who share the fact that they have studied at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and therefore have the same Alma Mater, to which they return at this time of celebration.

Athayde Marques Family

Miguel Athayde Marques is married to Manuela Athayde Marques.

Both graduated in Management, at the Portuguese Catholic University, in 1977.

Miguel Athayde Marques, is Vice-Rector of UCP and Professor of Management at CLSBE/ UCP. He also holds other positions such as Member of the Board of Directors of Brisa; Member of the CR Monitory Commitment at Novo Banco; and Vice-President of Galp.

Manuela Athayde Marques is Director of the Centre for Financial Studies and Secretary-General of the Portuguese Banking Association. She is also a Researcher of the Research Unit in Economics and Business Sciences of UCP, and member of the Scientific Council of CLSBE, as well as representative of the Business Administration and Management Course in the Academic Council of UCP.

Filipe Athayde Marques is the son of Miguel Athayde Marques and Manuela Athayde Marques. In 2017, he finished his degree in Management, at the Catholic University of Portugal. Filipe is Head of Global Risk, at EDP Renováveis, in Madrid

Bento Family

Vítor Bento, completed his Masters in Philosophy of Action in 2003, at UCP. He is currently Chairman of the Board: SIBS SGPS, SIBS Forward Payments Solutions and ECPA - European Card Payment Association; Member of Advisory Board: IGCP - Portuguese Debt Management Office and Member Board of Directors: PWN Lisbon. He is also Advisor of Semapa and Board of Trustees Member at UCP.

Ana Bento, daughter of Vítor Bento, completed her degree in Economics in 2004, and is now attending a Post-Graduation in Big Data Analytics at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Ana Bento is Deputy Director of Planning and Business Intelligence at Grupo Luz Saúde.

Margarida Bracons, Vítor Bento's niece and Ana Bento's cousin, holds the position of trainee at Nespresso, after having graduated in Social and Cultural Communication in 2016, at UCP.

Botton Family

Filipe de Botton graduated in Management in 1985 and is today Chairman of Logoplaste.

His children, Marta, Martim and Lourenço, have also passed through the Catholic University.

Marta and Martim attended Executive Training Courses in Finance and Logistics and the 3 Pillars Course. Marta, besides being a Director at Santini, is also a Manager at Nikky. Martim is Managing Partner at Aruki Sushi Delivery.

Lourenço also did an Executive Training in Accounting and Finance for non Financial Executives. Today he is CEO of CarSol, an Agriculture company.
