Rector of Católica is re-elected President of the International Federation of Catholic Universities

The 27th General Assembly of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (FIUC) elected today, in Boston, Isabel Capeloa Gil, Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), for the 2nd mandate as President of the Federation until 2025.

"Legacy and Transformation in a World of Change: Catholic Higher Education and the Future" was the theme of the Federation's 2022 assembly, in which the FIUC's Sciat ut Serviat Award was also given to Bishop Boris Gusziak, Chancellor of the Catholic University of Ukraine.

A UCP delegation composed by José Manuel Pereira de Almeida, Vice-Rector, Isabel Vasconcelos, Vice-Rector, and Carla Ganito, Coordinator of International Relations of the Faculty of Humanities, accompanied the Rector in the meeting that began July 30 at Boston College and ended today.
