The President of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Isabel Capeloa Gil, participated in the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Strategic Alliance of Catholic Research Universities (SACRU) in Sydney on August 19 and 20.
Also present were the rectors of the Australian Catholic University, the Boston College, the Sophia University in Japan, the Universitat Ramon Llul, the Università Catollica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, and the PUC Santiago in Chile.
Isabel Vasconcelos, vice-rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa for Global Engagement, also took part in the meeting.
Co-founded by the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 2018, SACRU aims to boost multilateral cooperation, aggregate and share good practices and develop a competitive model of scientific interaction with an impact on a global scale.
