Roberto Carneiro, is Professor Emeritus of the Portuguese Catholic University, and Doctor "Honoris Causa", in 2016, by UCP.
Roberto Carneiro was President of the Portuguese School of Macau Foundation and former Minister of Education. He also held the position of President of the Distance Learning and Training Institute, and Director of the Centre for the Study of Portuguese Speaking Peoples and Cultures of the UCP.
Maria Ana Carneiro, daughter of Roberto Carneiro, is a PhD student in Cultural Studies. She is a researcher at CEPCEP/CECC; and graduated in Social and Cultural Communication in 2004, from the Faculty of Human Sciences of the UCP.
Pedro Carneiro is Maria Ana Carneiro's brother and Roberto Carneiro's son. He is a Professor of Economics at UCL in London and graduated in Economics in 1997 from the UCP.
Inês Carneiro is also Roberto Carneiro's daughter and Pedro and Maria Ana's sister. Inês is Logoplaste Financeira's Controller. In 2009, she finished her degree in Management at UCP. Afterwards, she took her Master's in Management and Finance, also at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, which she finished in 2010.
Marta Carneiro, also daughter of Roberto Carneiro and sister of Pedro, Inês and Maria Ana. In 2006, Marta graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Portugal. She also has a PhD and a postgraduate degree in Law. She is currently Deputy to the Secretary of State for Citizenship and Equality.
Rita Almeida is Pedro Carneiro's wife. She graduated in Economics from the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP) in 1997. Rita is a Senior Economist at the World Bank.
