ADN Católica

The Catholic Alumni and Descendants Network is a network of families, with different generations of alumni and their descendants, who share the fact that they have studied at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and therefore have the same Alma Mater, to which they return at this time of celebration.

Modesto Pinheiro Family

Joaquim Pinheiro graduated in Economics in 1980. Today he is the Central Director of BPI.

Leonor Modesto, his wife, also completed her degree in Economics in 1980. Today, besides being a professor at CLSBE, she is also President of the Scientific Council.

His sons, Pedro and André, chose different areas. Pedro graduated in Management in 2010 and completed his Master in Management with Major in Finance in 2012. He is currently at Prime Portugal as Financial Analyst. André preferred the area of Law. He graduated in 2009 and concluded his Master in 2012. Today he is Senior Associate Lawyer at Garrigues.

Inês Matoso Pires, Pedro's wife, graduated in Social and Cultural Communication in 2011 and went on to a Master's in Communication Sciences, which she completed in 2013. Today she is a Marketing Specialist at Delloite.

Nabeiro Family

Siblings Rui Miguel and Rita come from the Management area and it is in this area that they are very good at it.

Rui Miguel graduated in 2003, did a post-graduation in Marketing and another in Human Resources, respectively in 2005 and 2007. He also chose UCP for his MBA, in 2015. Today he is CEO of Delta Cafés and has won several awards in his career.

His sister Rita is CEO of Adega Mayor. She chose Universidade Católica to complete an Advanced Management Programme in 2010 and a Sales Management Programme in 2011.

Nogueira Pinto Family

Eduardo Nogueira Pinto graduated in law in 1997. Today he is a partner at PLMJ and coordinator of the healthcare, pharmaceutical and life sciences team also at PLMJ.

Teresa Nogueira Pinto, Eduardo's sister, completed her degree in Political Science in 2006 and went on to a Masters in Security and Defence, which she finished in 2010. Today, in addition to being a PhD Fellow in Globalization Studies at Universidade Nova - FCSH, she is also an Expert in Geopolitical Information Service.
