Universidade Católica Portuguesa will host the visit of Pope Francis on August 3, at 9 am, for the Meeting with Young University Students. Register here.
Given the size of the event, with limited capacity for security reasons, this registration is mandatory. On the day of the event, access to the venue is from 5:00 am, with the access doors closing at 8:00 am.
At this Meeting with Young University Students, the Holy Father will hear testimonies from refugee students and young people involved in the "Global Education Pact", the "Francis' Economy" initiative and the application of the encyclical Laudato si'. This will be followed by His Holiness' speech, a prayer, the blessing of the first stone of the new Catholic campus (Campus Veritati) and the participation of the UCP Choir.
About 7,000 people are expected to attend this meeting, which is part of Pope Francis' official visit in the context of World Youth Day Lisbon 2023.
