Católica Corporate Governance: Católica meets to prepare for the future

Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) annually holds the Católica Corporate Governance Meeting, to reflect on the institution's achievements and prepare the future of the university. This year, the event was held on the Palma de Cima campus, in Lisbon, on September 25th.

Isabel Capeloa Gil, UCP's President, highlighted the University's position in the Times Higher Education ranking. For the second consecutive year, Católica is the best university in Portugal. The accreditation of the Integrated Master in Medicine was also celebrated.

António Medina de Almeida, Director of Católica School of Medicine, explained how the new course is based on research, with a teaching method based on problem-solving, and stressed that the project is an opportunity for the future of health in Portugal.

The event also included interventions by Michael Stopford, founder, and managing partner of ANCORED, who reflected on the future of Universities after the pandemic, and Sérgio Rebelo, an alumnus of Católica and Professor at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, who shared his view on the challenges and opportunities in the context of the pandemic.

A day marked by the vision for the future, and the strive to do more, and better.
