National Day of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa 2025

‘Knowledge as Hope’ will be the motto of the solemn session of the National Day of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) 2025, which will take place on 7 February at 4pm in the Cardinal Medeiros Auditorium in Lisbon.

During this ceremony, Ilídio da Costa Leite de Pinho and Vasco Maria Guimarães José de Mello will be awarded honorary doctorates.

UCP National Day is celebrated annually on the first Sunday of February, this year on the 2nd. On this day, a Mass will be celebrated at Santa Isabel Church, in Lisbon, at 11:00 am, which will be broadcast live on Rádio Renascença.

Both the Mass and the ceremony will be presided over by the High Chancellor of the UCP, His Most Reverend Eminence, D. Rui Valério.
