President of the Portuguese Catholic University attends USJ graduation ceremony in Macau

On 6 July, the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) awarded degrees to 381 students over three separate sessions at the 2024 Graduation Ceremony. The event took place at the at the Auditório Centenário de Fátima, in USJ Ilha Verde Campus, in Macau.

The first session, dedicated to awarding doctoral and master's degrees, was chaired by the representative of the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture, Kong Chi Meng, Director of the Department of Education and Youth Development (DSEDJ) and was attended by Isabel Capeloa Gil, President of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), among other distinguished guests.

Isabel Capeloa Gil attended the ceremony as a representative of UCP, reinforcing the long-lasting ties of academic and cultural cooperation between the two institutions and also the importance of collaboration between higher education institutions and the sharing of knowledge in international contexts.

The event also highlighted USJ's diversity and commitment to academic excellence, as well as its leading role in promoting academic exchanges.
