Providing an in-depth portrait of child poverty in Portugal, the meeting included several thematic panels with experts, academics and social activists, who addressed the legal, social and ethical aspects of this problem and sought to open up new avenues for intervention and solidarity.

The fundamental rights of children, the multidimensional nature of child poverty, public policies and instruments to address this situation, and the housing shortage are some of the topics highlighted.
