Católica Global School of Law establishes partnership with Google Portugal

Law School

Católica Global School of Law (CGSL), Universidade Católica Portuguesa, has established a partnership with Google Portugal, creating Google Inclusivity Scholarships, a cooperation focused on promoting knowledge and access to education.

The Google Inclusivity Scholarships will allow selected students from under-represented groups who wish to apply to CGSL's LL.M. programs to have their tuition fees fully paid. The agreement also provides for Google Portugal's sponsorship of the LL.M. Law in a Digital Economy.

The selection of the scholarship recipients is the sole responsibility of the School, using as criteria the candidates' belonging to an under-represented group and their academic merit.

In the words of Tito Rendas, Executive Director of the School, "this partnership fosters the achievement of one of our strategic goals at Católica Global School of Law: to promote access to our programs and a greater degree of diversity in our student body."
