Isabel Capeloa Gil

The Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Isabel Capeloa Gil, will be distinguished with the FLUL Alumni Prize on December 6, 2019. The award distinguishes the career of a FLUL graduate and will be presented for the first time in 2019, during the 3rd Alumni Meeting of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon.

Isabel Capeloa Gil's choice is due to "[the] fact that she has had a remarkable intellectual and professional life unfolded outside the Faculty of Letters," according to Miguel Tamen, Director of FLUL.

The Rector of the Portuguese Catholic University has a degree in Modern Languages and Literature and a Master in German Studies from FLUL. She also holds a PhD in German Studies from the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University.
