During the weekend of October 12, the PALCUS Annual Leadership Awards Gala took place in Sacramento, California. PALCUS - The Portuguese American Leadership Council of the United States - has a mission to promote the professional, economic, cultural and political development of the Portuguese-American community.
At the event, the UCP granted the Católica Fellowship for Portuguese American Students to Sabrina Brum. It was Marie Fraley, PALCUS' Managing Director, who received the prize in the name of the award winner, since she is already in Lisbon for her Master in International Relations at UCP.
During this occasion, the University signed a Protocol with PALCUS so that each year a Católica Fellowship for Portuguese American Students is awarded to a PALCUS member, based on the candidate's merit.
