The Catholic Alumni and Descendants Network is a network of families, with different generations of alumni and their descendants, who share the fact that they have studied at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and therefore have the same Alma Mater, to which they return at this time of celebration.

Pêgo Martins Family

Luis Pêgo Martins, is the father of Bernardo José Pêgo Martins and Mariana Pêgo Martins. Physician and Clinical Director of IMAdiagnosis SA; CEO of OK Saúde Clinic and Serra e Martins- Serviços Médicos LDA; throughout his professional career he has deepened his knowledge of Medicine. In 2003, he concluded a Post-Graduation in Management and Health Units at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Bernardo Pêgo Martins, opted for a career in Management. He is currently finishing his degree in International Management at the UCP in Business & Economics.

Mariana Pêgo Martins, however, followed the world of Communication. She worked in Plural Entertainment SA and is currently a Trainee in the Media Relations Department of the Rectory of the Catholic University of Portugal. She is currently finishing her Master's in Communication Sciences, in Communication, Television and Cinema, at the Catholic University of Portugal

Pessanha Family

José Miguel Pessanha, the patriarch of the family, made his way through Economics. He finished his degree in 1982 and is currently a director of Millennium BCP. He has four children who all graduated from the Catholic University.

Francisco opted for a Master's in Marketing, which he completed in 2010. He is currently Marketing Director at Banco Atlântico Europa. Marta, Francisco's wife, relied on UCP for her degree (2010), Master (2013) and General Management Programme (2015). Her area is Communication Sciences, specialising in Marketing, just like her husband. Today she is connected to Deloitte, in that same area.

As for the other brothers, Pedro was in management, in a General Management Program in 2014, and is an architect. João is in the financial area, specialising in the same in 2012. Today he is a financial analyst. Madalena, the younger sister, graduated in Management in 2016 and is now studying for a Master's degree.

Pinote Family

The Pinote family traced its way through Universidade Católica Portuguesa through the area of Communication.

Joana Pinote, Sofia's daughter, was the one who started the connection to the University. She graduated in Social and Cultural Communication in 2007 and in 2016 finished her Master's degree in the same area. Today Joana is a Flight Attendant.

Her mother, Sofia Pinote, chose UCP for her Master's degree, also in Communication Sciences, which she finished in 2014. Currently, Sofia works in the area of Hotel Management.
