On September 22, 2020, on a visit to the Czech Republic, on the occasion of the presentation of the Ibero-American Prize at the Carolina University in Prague, the Rector of the Catholic University, Isabel Capeloa Gil, accompanied by the Portuguese Ambassador, Dr Luís Almeida Sampaio, and the Director of the Terezin Memorial, Prof Jan Roubinek, paid solemn tribute to the victims of Nazi violence in the Terezin concentration camp.
