Nursing students at Católica are collaborating in epidemiological surveillance at the Public Health Units in Lisbon.
The final-year students of the Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Nursing at Universidade Católica Portuguesa are collaborating with the various Public Health Units of the Regional Health Administration of Lisbon and Vale do Tejo - ARSLVT - in epidemiological surveillance activities, within the scope of the existing partnership between two institutions.
The Universidade Católica Portuguesa thus participates, through its School of Nursing, in intervention work with the community, contributing to the epidemic surveillance of COVID-19 in the Lisbon and Tagus Valley Region. Epidemiological surveillance is one of the essential functions of Public Health, ensuring rigorous data collection, a fundamental activity in monitoring the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Bachelor's and Master's students in Nursing from Universidade Católica Portuguesa are currently having their classes taking place online.
