The Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Isabel Capeloa Gil, sealed the commemorations of the 50 years of activity of the institution with the presentation of the Católica Impacto Study.
The study values the UCP’s contribution to the Portuguese society at 18 billion euros. It also reveals that the value has grown over the years, surpassing 600 million euros per year. Among the figures released are the 6500 companies created by former students as well as the 1700 NGOs, generating 166,000 jobs.
Through its outstanding quality of education, prestigious teachers, and distinguished Alumni, Católica managed to make an impact not only in Portugal, but also in the international level.
