The "Transatlantic Economic & Trade Summit" event, organised by AmCham (American Chamber of Commerce in Portugal), will take place on 23 June, from 09h15 to 17h00, where transatlantic relations will be debated: future prospects and opportunities for developing economic, investment and trade relations between the USA and Europe, and in particular with Portugal.
The event will take place in a face-to-face format, at Culturegest, and will count with a panel of reference speakers, among them, Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Isabel Capeloa Gil, the Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa, the Country Manager of Google Portugal, Bernardo Correia, the Ambassador of Portugal in the USA, Domingos Fezas Vital, and many others.
AmCham Portugal is a private, independent and non-profit business association, whose main goal is to develop and facilitate the economic and commercial relations between Portugal and the USA, on a mutual interest basis. With more than 65 years and about 230 Members, it is the biggest bilateral business association between Portugal and the USA. As a relevant institution in the context of Portuguese society, it plays an active role in economic diplomacy.
