The Board of Directors of the Agency for Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education (A3ES) communicated to UCP, on September 1, 2020, the accreditation of its Integrated Master in Medicine.
This degree, which involves a partnership with the prestigious University of Maastricht and the Luz Saúde Group, is distinguished from traditional curriculums by having a more practical and integrated approach from the first years.
Counting on a renowned national and international faculty, it will be the first medical degree in Portugal taught in English and open to students from all over the world, with a student focused methodology.
It will be taught in modern facilities and specifically designed to the level of the most advanced teaching of medicine that is practised in the best universities in the world.
The Rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Isabel Capeloa Gil, states that "This decision strengthens the Higher Education system, allowing more young people to graduate in Portugal and ensuring supervision of the quality of those who practice medicine in our country".
