The Rector of Católica, Isabel Capeloa Gil, attended the Europaeum Annual Lecture, held at the historic Sheldonian Theatre at the University of Oxford. The event welcomed Lord William Hague, Chancellor of the University of Oxford.
Accompanying the Rector was a Católica delegation alongside alumna Ana Vasconcelos. During the visit, Isabel Capeloa Gil also took part in the Europaeum Board of Trustees meeting, the governing body of the network in which she serves as a member.
Founded on Oxford’s initiative in 1992, the Europaeum connects 16 leading European universities to foster joint academic collaboration and high-level debate on European affairs. Católica has been an active member of this elite alliance since 2019, reinforcing its dedication to academic distinction, global outreach, and leadership.
