Católica hosted the first session of the “Conversations with Global Thought Leaders” series on September 24, as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations. The inaugural session featured Sir Alan Parker, Founder and Chairman of Brunswick, one of the world’s leading strategic communications and advisory firms.
Entitled “Ethics and Global Reputation”, the session brought together Sir Alan Parker and Gonçalo Almeida Ribeiro, Professor at Católica’s Lisbon School of Law, for a conversation on the relationship between ethics and reputation in an increasingly interconnected world.
The discussion explored the challenges organisations face in a context where trust, responsibility and reputation are becoming increasingly important. It also provided an opportunity to reflect on the role of ethics in building lasting relationships between institutions, organisations and society.
Held at the A1 Auditorium of the Faculty of Human Sciences in Lisbon, the event marked the beginning of a series of conversations with prominent national and international figures. The initiative aims to create spaces for dialogue and reflection on issues shaping contemporary society, bringing the academic community into contact with different perspectives and experiences.
