Starting October 12, Católica in Lisbon will host one of the most prominent dialogues between art, thought, and academia: ArtCut – Art Triennial of Catholic Universities. Organized by the Holy See’s Dicastery for Culture and Education, with Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça as General Commissioner and Nuno Crespo as Chief Curator, this global initiative spans 8 cities across the world, bringing together over 100 renowned artists around the theme “Exercises in Empathy”.
By hosting this milestone event, Católica reaffirms its commitment to being an active space for co-creation, critical thinking, and the celebration of the human dimension. World-class cultural and educational projects of this scale flourish when a dedicated community comes together — where every contribution, investment in talent, and support for Católica’s mission helps open new horizons, empower future generations, and enrich society through knowledge and culture.
