On 8 January, the President of Universidade Católica signed a cooperation agreement with the Portuguese Navy, within the scope of developing activities in the areas of training and scientific research, aiming at excellence and innovation.
The event took place at the Office of the Chief of Staff of the Navy, at the Portuguese Navy's Central Facilities in Lisbon.
Also in relation to this relationship with the Portuguese Navy, the President of Universidade Católica gave the Inaugural Lecture for the 2026 Academic Year at the Naval Academy, on the theme ‘Hostis humani generis. Cultural representations of submarine warfare’, where she also took up her position as an academic at this institution.
The session was chaired by the Chief of Staff of the Navy and National Maritime Authority, Admiral Jorge Nobre de Sousa.
