KPMG Portugal joins the panel of Founding Donors of the new Campus Veritati at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) in Lisbon, through a donation protocol worth 1.5 million euros, now formalized.
In this context, the consulting firm becomes one of UCP's strategic partners and will have a space with its name in the new building of the Catholic University, the KPMG Hall, being associated with several research projects, technology transfer and innovation of the University.
The partnership was formalized by the Dean of UCP, Isabel Capeloa Gil and by Vítor Ribeirinho, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KPMG, at the UCP headquarters in Lisbon.
At the formal signing, Isabel Capeloa Gil, thanked "the confidence shown by KPMG with this donation", with the desire that "this is a project that allows a growth together."
The Chancellor of UCP stressed that "Campus Veritati is an ambitious and inspiring project, which allows us to aspire to much more, as has been, over the years, the Catholic's DNA."
Vítor Ribeirinho, CEO/Chairman of KPMG Portugal said: "It is with great honor and satisfaction that we establish this partnership with the UCP Foundation. This is a long-term partnership, where KPMG and Fundação UCP, in close union, project collaborative actions, complementing the qualities and skills of each entity, in the development of people and the community, contributing to the progress of our society".
