José de Mello Group

The José de Mello Group and the José de Mello family have always played a very important role in supporting UCP and the activities undertaken by this university, both in the granting of scholarships and in supporting research. UCP will build the new Campus Veritati to the north of Avenida Lusíada, connected to the current campus, which will include a new building to house the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics and a multifunctional building with a large auditorium, innovation areas and where the UCP Rectory will also be located. 

In this connection, the José de Mello Group and the José de Mello family consider the new Campus to be of prime importance and intend to make an active contribution to its completion. Following this important donation, the new building of the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics will be renamed the "José Manuel de Mello Building".
